:Daily Tasks/Skill Tasks: Who Can Complete Them? Daily tasks and Skill Tasks can be completed by every player on each of their accounts every single day! What Are they? -Daily Tasks- Daily tasks are 9 random assignments (3 skilling tasks, 3 wildy tasks, and 3 PvM tasks) that are given each day by the Daily Challenges Master that refresh at midnight server time. The current server time can be viewed by clicking the quest tab and selecting the blue icon, or alternatively there is a countdown timer that you can view at any time by speaking to the Daily Challenges Master. When you speak to The Challenges Master on the WEST side of the fountain of life you will see this interface pop-up. From this interface you will notice a few things, first thing to note is on the bottom of the pop-up menu it says time left – this is the amount of time you have until the current assigned tasks are reset and you receive 9 new tasks. The next thing to notice is the center portion of the image. Here you can see 3 tasks listed along the left, which can each be clicked on to view the objective, the progress made towards the objective, and the reward for completing the objective, which is displayed in the center portion of the image. The third important feature of this menu is along the top where you see 4 different tabs labeled skilling, wildy, PvM, and shops. Clicking the skilling, wildy, and PvM tabs show the 3 tasks in that category that have been assigned that day, and clicking shops opens the store where you can spend your reward points. The last thing to view is in the top left corner an icon that says track. This can be toggled to show/stop the pop-up tracking of the daily tasks similar to how the achievement trackers show on screen. -Skill Tasks- Skill tasks are unique tasks that can be assigned for Cooking, Woodcutting, Fletching, Fishing, Firemaking, Crafting, Smithing, Mining, Herblore, Thieving, and Runecrafting. You can have 1 task in every skill active, and unlike the daily tasks, as soon as you finish your assigned task you can go get another one so you do as many in a day as you can finish. If you don't like your assigned task you can wait until midnight server time where all of your tasks will be reset for free, or you can get a new task at any time at the cost of 100m coins. If you REALLY hate your assigned task, you can choose to outright block a task at the cost of 250m coins but choose wisely as you only have 20 blocked task slots. When you speak to the Skill Task Master on the EAST side of the fountain of life you will see this menu pop-up. Like with the Daily Challenges you'll notice that this screen provides all of the information you'll need. If you look in the top left corner you will see the track option again, which can be toggled to show/stop the pop-up tracking of the tasks. Along the top bar you'll see 3 tabs labeled tasks, shop, and blocked tasks. The tasks tab shows all of your currently assigned tasks, shows the option to get a new task at the cost of 100m, and the option to block the task so it can't be assigned again in the future for 250m. The shop tab opens the rewards shop, it is worth noting that the rewards shop tracks points from each skill separately, so to purchase cooking items you'll need to complete cooking tasks that give cooking points. The same is true for every skill, so don't forget to try them all! The last tab you'll see is your blocked tasks list. From here you can see the tasks you've blocked – you can choose to unblock any of them at any time but you will not get your 250m back from blocking them. The last bit of information available is along the bottom where it tracks the total number of tasks you have completed. Where Are They? Both the Challenges Master and the Skill Task Master are located at ::home and can be found by running south from the home teleport location to the Fountain of Life. West of the fountain on the platform you will find the Challenges Master, and the Skill Task Master is located on the platform to the East. Why Should I Do Them? Now for the part we have all been waiting for, in this section we will go over the rewards available in the shop! -Daily Tasks- The Daily Challenge shop is pretty straight forward, each daily task you complete gives a set amount of rewards points which can be used to purchase items from the shop.
